WATCH: The Art of Hope included in trailer for Chicago Social Change Festival

We are extremely thrilled to announce that The Art of Hope’s first screening outside of Canada will happen on Oct. 7 at the University of Chicago’s historic Doc Films theatre. The team behind The Art of Hope has been invited by Social Change, a nonprofit in Chicago, to their annual festival Changefest. In what is sure to be an epic night, you can find us at the red carpet, as well as taking part in a panel discussion following the film’s screening. You can learn more about Social Change here.

In anticipation, the first official sizzle reel of films that will be screened live at Changefest has dropped. Alongside The Art of Hope, the list of films included in the trailer are:

  • Highland Park Strong

  • Lucha De Familias

  • No Cop Academy

  • I Identify as Me

  • El Chapulin

  • Chao Carbon Documentary

  • Maya Land: Listening to the Bees

We are honoured to be considered alongside these filmmakers from around the world, and we hope to contribute positively to Changefest’s message of liberation and community. Watch the trailer below:
